When you plan to go to Finland, make sure that you choose the right time according to your likes and budget. Finland has tourisms all through the year and they come for varied reasons. Some come to enjoy the winter here with all the snow falling around while some others choose summer for moderate climate and sightseeing.

The months, May to September is the tourist season in Finland with visitors streaming in from around the world. Better keep away from visiting Finland in the month of July as it is summer vacation during this time and later August and September is mostly rainy. Visiting Finland in July will break your budget with highly priced goods and stay.

The most recommended summer month is June with a moderately warm climate. It is the time for all kinds of outdoor activities and there are many events hosted here during this time. You can even get a glimpse of the beautiful Midnight Sun.

 

For the Finland Winter sports lovers, the best time is from January to March. These are the coldest winter months with longer days. During December it is snowy, but the days are very short giving you little scope of outdoor activities.

Christmas celebrations in Finland attract a good lot of tourists. Christmas celebrations have a lot of pomp and show that people come from world over to see the event. It’s also during this time that the visitors can see the Northern Lights. With both these priced sighs, Christmas season witnesses all of Finland priced too high. Plan a Christmas in Finland only if you have a heavy wallet. Yet, the sights are worth seeing at that price.

For the simple Finland travelers, who have no good idea about Finland, the optimal time is September=October. . During this time it’s mostly rainy but the prices will he too low for stay and food. The only problem is that most events will be closed here.
